Angel’s Envy co-founder launches brand

Angel's Envy co-founder Wes Henderson is back at it with the launch of a new brand.

The distillery is being designed by Louisville-based Luckett & Farley and built by Louisville-based Kelley Construction. The hope is to break ground in the fall for a two-year project.

There are additional plans for an amphitheater and on-site lodging accommodations that might resemble the efforts that have taken place at Log Still Distillery in Nelson County.

“I call it a campus, because that’s really what you’re going to see,” Henderson said.

As of a recent date, True Story had a headcount of approximately 10 people — including four of his sons, primarily all on the operations side of things. It has also hired Peggy Noe Stevens & Associates to help build out the home place of the new facility.
