People You Should Know: Aric Andrew

Aric Andrew leads the oldest continuously operating architectural firm in Kentucky. Luckett & Farley has over 160 years of service to clients nationwide including designing many iconic Kentucky structures like the Twin Spires at Churchill Downs.

He became President and CEO in 2017. Previously, Andrew served as Senior Vice President and Market Director of Higher Education for Luckett & Farley for more than 10 years. He continues Luckett & Farley’s design excellence and creates a culture of ownership and thought-leadership by empowering his team at the 100% employee-owned firm.

To help Kentucky business leaders navigate post-pandemic operational shifts, Andrew worked to equip his firm and Luckett & Farley’s clients with tools to best utilize spaces and support staff through human-centered design. Luckett & Farley also launched a free virtual event series to bring together a panel of experts in office design, corporate culture, economic development, and innovation to address the challenges decision-makers face about the future of work.

Andrew is a resident of Louisville and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, College of Architecture (now the College of Design), where he received several design awards including the Dean’s prize; the highest honor for graduating architecture students at UK, and the prestigious Skidmore Owings and Merrill Traveling Fellowship.
