Original blueprints for Churchill Downs’ Twin Spires revealed

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - As the Kentucky Derby draws closer, the firm that design firm behind one of Churchill Downs’ most iconic features has given us a look at the original blueprints.

Louisville-based design firm Luckett and Farley showed off the historic paperwork of the Twin Spires original design. The firm designed the spires in 1984 and they were revealed at the track in 1895 as part of a new grandstand construction.
