University of Kentucky, Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Luckett & Farley provided the feasibility study and full design services for a replacement soccer facility. The study included programming, design concept, and detailed cost analysis and preliminary budget. Additionally, we completed a 3-D study of the facility.  

The soccer complex includes:

• 1,200 seat grandstand
• 1,000 additional end-line bleachers
• Spectator viewing terrace
• 2,500 SF press box and university suites
• 13,000 SF of support space for both men’s and women’s programs including:
  - Locker rooms
  - Showers and toilets
  - Student lounges
  - Training room
  - Physician's room
  - Game day office
  - Mud room
  - Equipment and field storage  

The soccer complex is a sister facility to the new softball stadium Luckett & Farley also designed. Both structures share restrooms, concessions, and an elevator.
