ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Architectural Planning and Conceptual Services
The Trinity High School STEM Career Center lays the foundation for an expanded academic offering, providing a dedicated STEM facility. The design will support program’s growth and reflect the institution’s long-term academic goals.
The design creates a prominent campus presence in Saint Matthews, establishing a landmark northern gateway. It features a mix of indoor and outdoor collaborative spaces that support project-based learning and foster adaptable environments for various educational needs. Additionally, sustainable elements, such as passive shading strategies and geothermal heating, are integrated to ensure long-term environmental benefits for Trinity High School's northern campus.
Key Design Elements:
- Covered multifunctional spaces for outdoor classes and events, enhancing flexibility in educational activities.
- Modern campus aesthetic with passive shading strategies, and provisions for future integration of PV panels and geothermal heating to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Signature stair tower as a focal point, featuring a mural that connects to existing campus artwork, fostering continuity in the school's visual identity.
Luckett & Farley has completed the programming and conceptual design phase, providing concept renders to support fundraising efforts and laying the groundwork for the next phase of development.
