ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The Premier Residences at Tellico Village is a new independent living facility located in the deed-restricted community of Tellico Village, Tennessee. This community is comprised of very active retirees who are taking advantage of the location’s natural beauty and country-like setting, as well as amenities that cater to an aging population.

Five Star Senior Living sought to capitalize on the rural setting, making use of views to the countryside and adjacent wooded areas. The property is situated on a hillside that challenged the programming for the project. Our team solved this challenge by situating the entry lobby so it looks over the main dining room, making use of the natural slope of the hill and providing excellent views of the surrounding countryside. The building is u-shaped with each end of the “U” reaching out from the hillside and capturing their own unique views of the countryside or of the amenities located in the center of the “U.”

The design of this community took cues from the local residential architecture and provided natural elements of wood and stone on the interior of the facility while drawing unique styles like the Chippendale railing found throughout.

Amenities include bistro, dining room with adjacent private dining and lounge, movie theatre, salon, library, on-site physical therapy, hot tub, pickleball courts, and gardens.
