As a growing suburb of Louisville, Bardstown sought to enhance resources for its citizens and strengthen its charming historic downtown. The vision centers on developing a premier downtown recreational complex and park adjacent to city government facilities and local amenities.

Luckett and Farley collaborated closely with the City of New Albany to revitalize its downtown corridor. The relocation of the city hall to a beautifully restored historical building on Main Street was a catalyst for improving pedestrian safety and the overall visual appeal of this prominent area.

The Premier Residences at Tellico Village is a new independent living facility located in the deed-restricted community of Tellico Village, Tennessee. This community is comprised of very active retirees who are taking advantage of the location’s natural beauty and country-like setting, as well as amenities that cater to an aging population.

Luckett & Farley designed this 36,000 SF new office building to support the operations of a national forensic engineering firm. Since the building is on a 2.7-acre site, we also designed parking lots, sidewalk connections, and a multi-story patio and deck area overlooking the adjacent lake. Our civil engineering work included water and sanitary sewer utilities, as well as grading and storm drainage.

Shawnee Park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, Sr., and the rest shelter, constructed in 1915, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The restoration of this historic structure included an accessible entrance to the building; concrete, plaster and roofing restoration; a new restroom; and site improvements such as new parking and a schematic plan for a picnic grove and playgrounds.

Emerson Park was designed by Luckett & Farley for Louisville Metro Parks as a new corner lot park in Louisville’s Schnitzelburg neighborhood. The park includes a small paved walking path, seating, and a bandstand for concerts and picnic activities for the historic German neighborhood.

Luckett & Farley has a long history at Algonquin Park. This recent restoration included a new walking path and renovated multi-purpose fields for softball, baseball, soccer and football. The existing restroom facility was completely renovated inside and out. We designed a new wood timber bandstand for neighborhood events and concerts.

Ticona wanted to relocate their headquarters and Research & Development facilities from New Jersey to Kentucky. They reached out to Luckett & Farley to provide master planning and space planning studies for the relocation.

Luckett & Farley designed this outdoor sanctuary and sculpture garden honoring nurse Anne Stuart Robinson who worked at the hospital for 30 years. Friends, family, and co-workers cooperated to bring the healing garden to fruition after Anne lost her battle with cancer in 2014. Annie’s Garden is designed with colors, patterns, lighting, and focal points that add texture and warmth to the space.
